About XTREME MARTIAL ARTS
Since September 2009, Xtreme Martial Arts has been Connecticut's #1 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts school and is consistently dedicated to delivering the best BJJ experience for all levels.
The Xtreme Martial Arts Academy is a direct affiliate of 3-time BJJ World Champion Vitor "Shaolin" Riberio of Vitor Shaolin Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy.
XMA owner and head instructor, Jay, along with his team, are accomplished BJJ practitioners and grapplers who share a passion for BJJ and constant progression in the art.
Along with teaching at the Xtreme Martial Arts studio, Jay is also the head instructor of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.

Nova União is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) academy and mixed martial arts team located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Their BJJ black belts have participated in BJJ, submission grappling and MMA competitions all over the world. BJ Penn's victory at the Mundials marked the first time a non-Brazilian native won gold in the black belt category.
