Merriam-Webster dictionary defines resilience as “an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change”. We think of this as a good thing, we strive to be resilient when we encounter a tough situation, and we work to build this quality in our children.
But why are some people more resilient than others? And how can we become better at this skill?
